Piney Mountain

This project transformed two craftsman-style single family homes on nearly 2 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Asheville, NC. We restored as much of this property as possible, allowing the 1940s schoolhouse feel to shine through while adding some modern finishes. We added board and batten to the walls in the carriage house to accent the original hardwood floors. Concrete countertops and tile were installed in the main home to modernize the space. Wood was framed across the ceilings to create depth and continuity throughout the home.
